cozy breakfast at dawn
No, I did not get up at dawn to have breakfast. I went to Dawn for breakfast at 11am.
Although it was a Thursday morning, the establishment was filled. I managed to snag a cozy seat in the corner, after ordering an iced americano and a rye longan choco cookie.
I’ve had a LOT of cookies and this was honestly one of the best I’ve had to date. I never would’ve thought that longan could be incorporated into a cookie but it goes so well with the chocolate. The combination was not too sweet and had just the right amount of sweetness to give a sugar rush kick, and the flavors of the cookie were amplified by the sprinkling of salt on top. I’m definitely going back to try all of their cookies (and cakes).
Warm cookies have my whole heart.
